Whilst Linda has created many spas for her clients, the project that really showcases her considerable skills in this field, and stands out as a shining example of Linda's spa philosophy at its best, is the global award-winning Rockhouse Spa in Negril, Jamaica.

Linda has been the Spa & Wellness Consultant at the Rockhouse Hotel & Spa for the past seventeen years, during which time it has gone from strength to strength. It was the first spa to offer an authentic Caribbean spa experience, with indigenous-inspired ingredients, rituals and products that really deliver a unique spa environment. Over the years, Linda has worked tirelessly to implement a wealth of new ideas and exciting developments that have ensured the spa has continued to grow and evolve, allowing the Hotel to offer both on and off-property guests a truly unforgettable spa experience.

AWARD-WINNING SPA

Throughout the past seventeen years, the spa has grown in stature and now regularly receives global recognition. Working closely with hotel staff, and providing continuous training for all Spa Therapists, has guaranteed the spa has always stayed up-to-date with global trends and received the publicity and exposure that a spa of this quality demands. Being awarded the prestigious accolade of Jamaica’s Leading Spa Resort for the second consecutive year at the World Travel Awards in 2015, is testament to Linda’s dedication and expertise.

WELLNESS PROGRAM

In a bid to continue this growth and evolution, 2014 saw Rockhouse Hotel and Spa advance to the next level as Linda implemented a comprehensive hotel Wellness Program. Behind the scenes, establishing the Program saw her network with local suppliers, work with the hotel’s F&B Department to devise new spa wellness dishes and a juice program, source and interview local instructors to lead a range of wellness / mindfulness activities, and liaise with every department within the hotel to ensure the smooth running of the Program. All this has allowed the guests to fully immerse themselves in a range of stress-relieving activities, ensuring their stay at the hotel is one of complete rest and restoration. 

The Wellness Program has been very well received and both repeat and new guests have fully embraced the new concept.
